During recent years the scales and speed of global changes of the geological environment “GEOCHANGE” have sharply increased. The result of GEOCHANGE is the manifold increase in the number of natural cataclysms – earthquakes, volcano eruptions, hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, etc. Consequences of natural catastrophes are a great number of human victims, great economical damage, and serious social and moral-psychological consequences.
Many scientists, specialists, politicians, public figures, scientific, educational, social and state organizations worry about this fact.
On the initiative of WOSCO and a group of famous scientists, specialists and organizations of different countries, the Communiqué for Global Changes of Global Environment – GEOCHANGE, has been prepared, the text of which is given here.
WOSCO appeals to all scientists, specialists, public figures and politicians, scientific, educational, social and state organizations to join the initiative group of the “GEOCHANGE” Communiqué.
You should send only a brief letter with the text given below, and your name or name of your organization will be included in the Communiqué’s initiative group and will be placed in this site and in the Appendix to the text of Communiqué.
